Mozilla Firefox 3 - I'm Trying It Out

I downloaded Firefox 3 yesterday to see what all the buzz was about. If what I'm seeing so far is any indication, it may well be (in my opinion) the best browsing experience to date.

The "Awesome Bar" is really a pretty cool thing and it has helped me find addresses and sites I forgot I went to. The awesome bar also remembers your selections and grows with you. I can tag bookmarks and type their name or their tag and they show up in the awesome bar. The memory leaks and performance issues have also been addressed and I no longer have to force-quit Firefox when it stops responding.

There are other things like extensions and most sites work with Firefox even more than Safari. I really am impressed and at this point I think I'll stay with Firefox unless I find out later I dislike it. This is all my opinion and your mileage will vary when finding web browsers.

Well?

How is it?

Um...

My Opera trial was suspended because I left for vacation over the weekend and when I got back I found out about the Feedly extension by Paul Stamatiou! http://paulstamatiou.com/2008/06/23/review-feedly-for-firefox

If I still continue to like Feedly, I may have a hard time going to Opera.

i still use both actually

well I am using both about equally. i still like opera a lot, but there are some "weird" things, but i wish opera made an email client too. i am starting not to like thunderbird. hopefully TB3 comes out soon.

You are the one that got me

You are the one that got me into Opera, and dude, 9.5 is awesome. It is now my default browser, it is simply great!

I forgot about Opera..

I forgot about Opera! I now remember my huge campaign to get Opera for free before they went..free! I should try Opera 9.5 again. Thanks for reminding me.
