I'm 17 and am a High School Senior. I produce Internet Media and have taught myself computers.
I founded my media company The Name I Wanted Was Taken.
I apologize for not blogging during the month of April, I was down in Guatemala with my family picking up my nephew Brandon!
I was searching YouTube and I found some extremely hilarious Muppet Bloopers.
We just got the news that next week we get to pick up my nephew Brandon! This is exciting news and I'm glad that finally the wait is over. I'll be gone for two weeks while we are picking him up and enjoying the culture of Guatemala.
My Dad is now out of the hospital and everything's OK with him. Thank you Lord, and thanks to all of you who prayed for him and for our family.
On Saturday we took my Dad to the hospital and he's still there. We still don't know for sure what's going on, but at least he's in the care of the hospital.
He's in need of prayer, I'm trying to cope with this and I'm missing him. It's hard to focus on a lot of things when my Dad is not doing well.
Please Lord, be with my Dad!

I was wrong, I thought this snowfall would be like the last---merely snow a little and be done. I was wrong and now I'm looking out at A LOT of snow. This is not the end of civilization as we know it, it's merely the last (I hope) snowfall of winter.
The Super Bowl Commercials are my favorite part! Here are my picks for my favorite commercials.
I've always wanted to make the transition from Flickr to Gallery2, but I've never found the integration into my site that I was hoping for! It always felt like a separate website detached from my main site.
Well, things have changed! I just installed the Drupal Gallery2 module and now my photo gallery is directly attached to my site. I can add images from my gallery, link to it from the mainpage, add blocks on the sidebar linking to images, etc! It is the Gallery2 I've been hoping for.
I'm currently importing images from iPhoto into my gallery and I hope to continually update it with more current photos. I tried to update a photo gallery before, but now it's easier and more fun!

GameTap has released a prototype of a new in-browser gaming feature for 11 games. The in-browser playing is pretty sweet! I can see using it when I'm on the go and want some quick gaming action.

I bought the last MacHeist Bundle back in January and continue to use the Apps everyday. Now MacHeist has raised the bargain again and turned it into both an online and Retail bundle. So you can buy it online or pick it up in stores.
The bundle includes:
Online sales are for a limited time only and retail sales are only available while supplies last! This looks like a good deal if you haven't bought these apps or missed previous MacHeist Bundles.

One of the biggest surprises this April Fool's day was GameTap's release of Captain McGrandpa - Memory of the Forgotten. You download the game and when you go to play it, a launcher appears. You click on Play Game and your redirected to a thread on the GameTap forums where TheRedEye is the Game Master and the community responds with direct commands like a Text Adventure.
At first glance this seems strange, but once I started playing it---I was hooked! The game started an old man named Captain Grandpa who needs to figure out what he's supposed to be doing that day. The game ended at 6pm when we found out he was scheduled to be on a game show.
You had to follow it to fully appreciate it, but it wins my vote for Best April Fools Joke, even more than the World of Warcraft April Fools jokes. I hope to see more like this from GameTap.

It seems like not too long ago The Sims 2 came out. I loved the series back in The Sims 1, but The Sims 2 never really felt the same.
